Welcome to the Goshen Painters’ Guild! We are artists doing drawing, watercolor, acrylics, pastels, oils and mixed media. We offer each other lots of encouragement and friendly critiques as well as suggestions for improvement. Together as a Guild we enjoy several workshops and classes each year; we also host art shows, competitions, and other opportunities to show your artwork. The Goshen Painter’s Guild Studio is located next to the Goshen Farmer’s Market on the second floor above Sweet Water Interiors.Read More

We are a group of like-minded photography professionals, hobbyists, and enthusiasts sharing the goal of learning, inspiring, and broadening the art of photography. We gather at least once a month (the 3rd Wednesday of each month), participate in various outings as a group and in community events, as well as provide workshops and classes for members and those in the community with an interest in photography.Read More
Northside was Goshen’s first-ever neighborhood association. The Boundaries are from Main Street to east, Rock Run Creek to south and west, Wilden Avenue to north. In 2011, thanks to the combined efforts of the neighborhood association, Goshen Rotary, La Casa, the city government, and neighborhood association members, Mill Street Park was created. The park features a community garden, outdoor fitness equipment, a woodland nature trail, and natural play areas.Read More
Our city is home to well over 200 visual & performing artists, more than 100 established art-related businesses and non-profit organizations, five active fine art guilds, the international River Bend Film Festival, and several renowned performance venues—Goshen College Music Center, Ignition Music Garage, and the Historic Goshen Theater.
After the assembly of The Mayor’s Arts Council, in the fall of 2016, Mayor Jeremy Stutsman posed the question, “What does our city need to advance our art community?” We introduce The Local. Originally inspired by a group of working artists in 2013 as a labor of love with an all volunteer staff, the Local has grown to be a place for seasonal art exhibits and markets.
Made possible by the support of the Live, Work, Play Grant through the Elkhart County Convention & Visitors Bureau, the next phase of our project will be coming soon in 2018. We are working with local illustrators to develop a Field Guide to the Arts: a beautiful, artistically rendered drawing of Goshen designed for web and print. This city drawing will be used extensively on our website as part of our initial plans to highlight our art assets in an interactive database. The printed version will also be available for distribution at our sponsoring locations.Read More
