Diversification in communities is often talked about. Goshen is backing up its discussions with action.

During this chapel I want to offer a couple glimpses from my experience about my experience of the church’s potential to animate the life of or give shape to a community organization.

Goshen is a vibrant, dynamic community.

A group of Northside Neighborhood residents, LaCasa representatives, and members of the Goshen Ten-Year Comprehensive Planning Team spent the year 2002 working on a proposal for the use of their newly-vacated 10 acres on their southern edge.

“There were many days I think that the customers had more faith in my ability to weather this change than I did, and I think one of the things about Goshen is that there’s been an enormous support for artists.”

Two communities are tied together with a very strong bond, through immigration.

Here’s what’s happening in Goshen.

The plan states visions, goals and policies for future growth and development.

On March 17, the Goshen (Ind.) City Council voted 6–0 to pass “A Resolution Acknowledging the Racially Exclusionary Past of Goshen, Indiana, as a ‘Sundown Town.’ ”
